sweet things

I went out this morning to get my hair cut and happened to pass Natural Tucker bakery in North Carlton. I’ve always liked their bread, but had never bought anything labeled as vegan in my pre-vegan days. With my eyes newly open I spied these vegan fruity scroll buns.

What can I say? They are delicious. Sourdough, full of fruit and spice. They have substance without being hefty or worthy.

And yes, there is a bit missing from the edge. I couldn’t wait. I tore a bit off in the car on the way home… 🙂
